How it all beganWayne McGee, along with his wife Jenny Lynn, established The McGee Group in 1976 as an optical distributor. By the end of 1979, the company had evolved into the largest independent optical distributor in North America. The company's focus in the 70's, 80's, and 90's was to distribute unique names and designer brands. Where we are nowIn 1998, The McGee Group started to focus more on developing our own brands. Today, the company has evolved into a major marketing and frame design company.
